I
desire to establish you
with all my heart and all my soul.
Jeremiah
32:41
I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant
them
in this land with all my heart and soul.
(NIV Bible)
When
Father declared that He loved you, He didn't do it half-hearted.
He planted you in His love with ALL His heart and soul.
The love that God demonstrates does not go half way, but
is fully committed to giving you everything and not holding
back anything.
In the gospel of John, Jesus prays to the Father 'ALL
I have is yours and ALL you have is mine'. The relationship
between the Father and the Son is a love dynamic that
is so full and so rich that it requires everything and
yet gains everything in return. God loves you and I so
much that He wants to draw us into this same love relationship
that He has with His Son. He has fully committed His heart
and His soul to us, and the only thing that He asks of
us in return is that we would respond by simply loving
Him back.
Jesus said that the greatest commandment is to love God
with ALL our heart, ALL our strength, and ALL our soul.
Father has already proved His love to us, giving up all
that He loved to prove His love for us. But the question
for us to ponder remains... Will we respond to His initiation
of love, and love Him in return with ALL our heart and
ALL our soul? He is waiting.
PRAYER
Father, I thank You for loving me with all Your heart
and all Your soul. I know that You rejoice in doing good
for me and have committed ALL that you have to me. In
response to the initiation of Your love for me, I give
You all that I have and all that I am in return. You are
a wonderful Father and I am so glad to be Your child.
In the name of Your beloved Son Jesus I pray, AMEN.
